Oui Smoke Catering Inc. is committed to providing an inclusive experience for customers and website visitors in Ontario, consistent with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation.
1. Our commitment
We aim to provide websites and customer communications that are accessible to people with disabilities, and to communicate with customers in a manner that takes into account their accessibility needs.
2. Website accessibility
We design this website with the goal of conforming to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA where practicable, including:
- Text alternatives for meaningful images where appropriate
- Keyboard-accessible controls for interactive features such as the cost calculator
- Sufficient colour contrast for primary text
- Support for reduced-motion preferences where animations are used
- Clear page structure with headings and labels
Some third-party content, older media, or decorative motion may not yet fully meet every guideline. We continue to improve accessibility over time.
3. Accessible customer service
When you contact or book with us, we will:
- Communicate in a respectful manner that considers accessibility needs you identify
- Welcome feedback about barriers you encounter
- Make reasonable efforts to provide information and booking support in accessible formats upon request
4. Assistive technologies
Our site is intended to work with common modern browsers and assistive technologies. If you use a screen reader, magnification, voice control, or other assistive tools and encounter a barrier, please tell us so we can help.
5. Feedback and requests
We welcome accessibility feedback and requests for alternate formats.
- Email: contact@ouismoke.co
- Subject line suggestion: “Accessibility feedback”
Please describe the page or feature, the barrier you experienced, and your preferred contact method. We will review feedback and respond within a reasonable time.
6. Service animals and support persons
Where we control a service environment for an event we are staffing, we welcome customers accompanied by service animals or support persons in accordance with applicable law and venue rules. Venue policies may also apply; we will help coordinate where possible.
7. Updates
This statement may be updated as our website and practices evolve. The “Last updated” date will change when revisions are made.
